## The Background

The New Jersey Insurance Fraud website was created in partnership with the Attorney General and the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice. The campaign was launched as part of a multi-channel awareness initiative (radio, web, print, billboard) to spread awareness of the high cost of insurance fraud to community members and state taxpayers.

## The Problem

The State of New Jersey needed a specific online presence that would:

- Educate citizens about insurance fraud and its serious consequences  
- Explain the seriousness of the crime  
- Encourage people to report suspected insurance fraud  
- Provide a user-friendly reporting mechanism

The challenge: The State's standard webpage has a busy design with significant visual noise, making it difficult for users to focus on the information needed to report insurance fraud. Citizens needed a dedicated platform that cut through the clutter.
