The Background
Youth vaping has become a critical public health challenge requiring modern, authentic communication strategies. This campaign needed to reach teens and young adults on the devices they actually use—mobile phones—with messaging that resonates with their values, concerns, and social contexts.
The Problem
Traditional health communication rarely reaches youth effectively. The challenge was designing an experience that would be discovered, engaged with, and shared among peers—using authentic voice, relevant contexts, and proven behavior-change design patterns rather than "talking down" to the audience.
This mobile-first initiative focused on educating and engaging youth and parents with clear, actionable information about vaping risks.
The Solutions
We designed an intuitive content structure, concise messaging, and clear calls to action—optimized for mobile consumption—and implemented an accessible, fast site.
The Results
Metrics and campaign outcomes will be backfilled from the legacy export.
